Adam Morrissey, a native of New South Wales, Australia, has over ten years of professional baseball experience under his belt. He has played for the Cubs, Angels, Rangers, Rockies, and Athletics organization, where he spent three years on Oakland’s 40 man MLB rooster.
Since 2009, Adam has been a key member of the Strike Zone family as a full time Professional Baseball ISSA Certified Instructor and head coach of our Connie Mack World Series host team. He is a very valued part of our baseball comunity and excellent with the kids.
Dick Gonzales, a native of New Mexico, pitched competitively for 34 years. Combined he has over 55 years of coaching and pitching experience. His softball experience ranges from: head coach at Piedra Vista High School, pitching coach at Fort Lewis College, and was previously Vice President of the Farmington Softball Association.
Mr. Gonzales has joined the Strike Zone family and is currently offering personal training sessions for softball girls! His focus is on teaching proper softball techniques to help prevent injuries to arm, wrist, elbow and shoulder. His goal is to help girls reach the next level of competition by improving their pitching techniques through the development of speed and control. as well as teaching girls different types of ball grips for better ball movement (rise, curve, change-up, drops etc).
